Duke

This black and white hound/lab mix is one cool guy. Born in 1996, he came to us from a local shelter where he was deemed "too large for adoption". Though timid for his first several months at the sanctuary, the consistency of his daily routine helped him blossom into a very mellow, sweet guy. He is extremely loving and appreciative of every gesture. He is affectionately called “do-nothing Duke” due to his laid-back attitude. One of his favorite activities is eating—and he loves to play with rope toys. Duke has it all—looks, personality—and he’s a great kisser!!
He longs to be a couch potato where he can spend his senior years in comfort with a person of his own.
